- Six years as a sworn law enforcement officer – MPTC Certified
- Eight years as a supervisor/manager for a security agency
- Current Maryland Guard Card (if no law enforcement experience)
- Current Maryland Gun Permit
- Certification Training in Executive Protection from a verifiable training institution
- Military Police with an Honorable Discharge DD-214
